The Teatro Monumental (Monumental Theatre) is a concert hall in Madrid.[1] The theatre, designed by Teodoro Anasagasti Algan, was built between 1922 and 1923 as a movie theatre (Teatro Cinema Monumental) and later was transformed to house symphonic concerts.[2] The Theatre is the concert venue of the RTVE Symphony Orchestra.[3] Def Leppard were scheduled to perform at the Theatre during their Slang World Tour on April 18, 1997, but the show was cancelled.
