"Everything Will Flow" Single by Suede from the album Head Music Released 6 September 1999 Format CD Recorded 1999 Genre Britpop Length 4:41 Label Nude Records Producer Steve Osborne, Suede Suede singles chronology "She's in Fashion" (1999) "Everything Will Flow" (1999) "Can't Get Enough" (1999) "Everything Will Flow" is the third single off the album Head Music by Suede, released on 6 September 1999 on Nude Records. The opening synth line sounds very similar to that of the previous single, "She's in Fashion," but the song progresses into a jumpy ballad. It's the first single of the band's to not reach the top 20 (#24 peak) since 1995's "New Generation".[1] "Everything Will Flow" and "Leaving" were produced by Steve Osborne, "Weight of the World" was recorded by Miti while "Crackhead" and "Seascape" were produced by Suede. The video for the title song was directed by Howard Greenhalgh, and is another big budget video by the band. Though visually appealing with water "flowing" throughout various people in the video, the band consider it a failure because they believe it resembles a television advert. "Everything Will Flow" was the second and final song by the group to chart in the U.S., peaking at #28 on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1999.[2] The b-side "Weight of the World" on CD1 features keyboardist Neil Codling on lead vocals and the b-side "Seascape" on CD2 is an instrumental.
